TEHRAN A 19-year old Iranian youngster, Aref Khazari- Yazdan, has been awarded the Pythagoras Prize in the United States, according to the U.S. daily *** Detroit News ***.

Pythagoras Prize is a top prize in mathematics, awarded to the students with extraordinary talent for this science.

Born in Yazd, the young Iranian student traveled to the United States to continue his studies in the field of electronic engineering at Michigan State University.

The parents of this talented student also received their Ph.D. degrees from this university.
